Lets start with the fact that Rosa, our 18 year old daughter moved in with us to begin the finalization process of her adoption. There is, of course, the fact that we moved and have a new house affectionately called "the money pit" that requires an awful lot of attention. Maybe it was Rosa's pregnancy and the arrival of our beautiful little granddaughter, Maryanna, that helped contribute to the lack of time available on writing newsletters. Well the truth of the matter is that all of the above did have something to do with it but the biggest reason, and one which is extremely exciting, is our book "An American Family" published by St.Martin's Press and released in February of 2001. We devoted all of our "free" time to the process of writing an entire book. We did have help with the writing from David Groff, whom without the book would probably never be written. The book is doing great (as of July 2001 anyway)and we are thrilled to report it will be mass marketed in paperback by St.Martin's Press in February of 2002. We went on a major book tour accross the country and continue publicity in regards to our book. The response from the public has been wonderful, heartwarming, heartbreaking and so much more. We continue to work on sharing our story and the events that shape our day to day lives and the lives of our children. We anticipate a time in the near future where we will pick up our quarterly newsletters but have an incredibly heavy schedule at the present. Check in at www.galluccio.com often.
